I hope that you will enjoy visiting my European "treasures" as much as I enjoy sharing them with you. My family's roots are from the shores of beautiful Lago Maggiore in the northern Italian province of Lombardia (Lombardy). My European heritage has always been an important aspect of my life but has become even more so after the birth of my children.
I want to pass on to them the rich culture which has inspired me and taught me in so many ways.
My ultimate dream is to bring a little part of Europe to anyone who wants to experience its beauty and allure. The hand-painted ceramics on my website are part of a rich tradition dating back centuries. The art of majolica continues today much in the same way it did during the Renaissance. The importance of preserving such traditions is what inspired me to establish Tesoro.
The photographs displayed on the notecards are all original artwork as seen through my eyes. I have tried to capture Europe's beauty and freeze it in time.
